hello there
I will be doing a 9-months fellowship in Houston (Univ. of Texas). I am currently not in the US and I do not have an experience of staying at the US before. I would like to know approximately how much would be the monthly spending on ordinary expenses for a single person (housing, bills, transportation, meals, ………..)

KeymasterHello Ahmed,
Congrats for your 9-months fellowship in Houston! This is a great city and a must see is the Space Center!
Regarding cost of life in Houston, it is a bit lower than the national average in the US.
You can check at websites like Numbeo that provide great comparison for prices like restaurants, transportation, food, monthly rent…

Also you can compare with other cities in US or the city you live in now.
This is a great way to get a first idea! 🙂 - AuthorPosts
